Job Responsibilities

  • Greet, welcome, and check in new guests
  • Inform guests of policies during the check-in process
  • Answer and direct calls to appropriate parties
  • Relay important information to guests, such as hotel rates, services, and hours
  • Handle reservations, confirmations, and cancellations as needed
  • Ensure guests are allocated appropriate rooms
  • Address all guest inquiries and escalate any issues as required
  • Field guest requests and relay to appropriate departments
  • Verify guests’ payment methods and manage front desk cash transactions
  • Deliver room keys and provide directions to guests’ rooms
  • Maintain records of guest bookings, compute bills and post charges
  • Handle mail, packages, and documents for guests
  • Provide details about local services, attractions, and dining options
  • Meet with housekeeping staff to ensure rooms are ready for guests
