Job Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic business development plans aligned with company objectives.
  • Identify new market opportunities, corporate clients, and enterprise solutions.
  • Drive revenue growth through B2B, B2C, and wholesale channels.
  • Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to inform strategy.
  • Prepare business forecasts, proposals, and investment plans for senior management.
  • Identify, negotiate, and secure partnerships with enterprises, government organizations, and corporate clients.
  • Build strong, long-term relationships with strategic customers and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with technical and product teams to design customized solutions.
  • Oversee the bidding and RFP/RFQ response process for large-scale contracts.
  • Lead, train, and motivate the Business Development and Sales teams to achieve targets.
  • Develop marketing strategies and campaigns to promote ISP services.
  • Coordinate with the marketing department for brand positioning and promotional activities.

As we strive to expand our reach and impact, we are on the lookout for a passionate and strategic professional to take on the role of Head of Business Development.About the Role:In this pivotal position, you will spearhead our business development initiatives and market expansion strategies. Your efforts will be crucial in identifying new market opportunities and securing vital partnerships that drive our objectives.Develop and execute strategic business development plans aligned with the company’s goals.Identify potential markets and enterprise customers, boosting both B2B and B2C growth.Monitor and analyze market trends and competitor activities to refine our strategies and offerings.Prepare comprehensive business forecasts and investment proposals for senior management review.Client Acquisition & Partnerships:Negotiate and secure strategic partnerships with key enterprises and government organizations.Foster and maintain long-lasting relationships with key stakeholders and clients.Coordinate with internal teams to create customized solutions that meet client needs.Lead the bidding process and respond to RFPs for high-value projects.Sales & Marketing Collaboration:Guide and inspire the Business Development and Sales teams to meet and exceed targets.Design and implement marketing strategies that highlight our services effectively.Work together with marketing to enhance brand positioning and promotional efforts.Establish competitive pricing models and service offerings.Leadership & Reporting:Build and manage a top-performing business development team with clear KPIs.Evaluate performance metrics and adjust strategies as necessary to meet objectives.Prepare and present reports to senior management with actionable insights.Represent iDS Bangladesh at industry events and conferences.Qualifications:We are looking for individuals who meet the following qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (BBA) or a relevant field.At least 10 years of experience in business development, ideally within the telecommunications or ISP sectors.Proven track record of achieving sales growth and strategic partnerships.Strong leadership and negotiation skills.Excellent communication capabilities and team management expertise.Ability to strategize effectively and make data-driven decisions.What We Offer:Competitive salary (Negotiable based on experience).Performance bonuses and yearly salary reviews.Mobile phone allowance and partially subsidized lunch.Two festival bonuses annually.Job Location: Dhaka (Banani)Employment Type: Full TimeGender Preference: Male candidates only.Application Instructions: Interested candidates should send their applications to us via email by the application deadline.
