Job Description
Basa Foundation is seeking a dedicated and experienced individual for the position of Head of Loan Operations (প্রধান, ঋণ কার্যক্রম). With a focus on enhancing microfinance initiatives, this role is pivotal in managing loan portfolios significantly ranging from 350 to 450 crore BDT. We are looking for a leader with a proven track record in microfinance who can make substantial contributions to our organization.In this role, you will be responsible for the following:Managing the overall loan portfolio of various branches, ensuring effective operations and compliance.Formulating and implementing annual plans while demonstrating exceptional leadership in loan operations.Expanding loan operations while effectively controlling outstanding dues and managing teams.Using microfinance software, MS Word, and PowerPoint for preparation and presentation of reports.Communicating effectively in both Bangla and English, showcasing your report writing abilities.Achieving set targets between 95 to 100% as per annual plans.Ensuring efficiency and transparency in all field-level operations.Being flexible and ready to undertake any duties as authorized by the management.Reporting to the Executive Director and Deputy Executive Director regarding overall operational performance.Maintaining continuous communication with various donor organizations to ensure timely fund receipt while actively working towards increasing funding opportunities.Requirements:Successful candidates will possess:A Master’s degree, preferably in Accounting, Management, Economics, or Finance.12 to 15 years of relevant experience in microfinance or related fields.Male candidates aged between 45 to 55 years are preferred.Willingness to work in the main office and at least 15 days a month in the field as per organizational needs.Benefits:We offer a competitive salary ranging from Tk. 150,000 - 160,000 monthly, coupled with various other allowances, including:Mobile and medical allowancesProvident and gratuity fundsWeekly two holidaysPartial lunch subsidyThree festival bonuses per yearNote: After satisfactory completion of six months of probation and subsequent evaluation, the position may be made permanent, subject to our salary structure.If you are ready to take on this challenging role, please submit your application with a CV, mobile number, references, recent photographs, and certified photocopies of educational and experience certificates by October 7, 2025 to:Executive DirectorBasa FoundationBasa Bhaban, House-42, Road-03, Prianka Runway City, Baunia, Turag, Uttara, Dhaka - 1230You may also apply online at basafoundationcareer@gmail.com with all necessary documents attached.
