Job Responsibilities
- Lead and continuously evolve the procurement strategy for yarn, fabrics, trims, accessories, and packaging materials to ensure competitiveness and resilience.
- Develop and implement procurement SOPs, supplier onboarding processes, and robust vendor evaluation frameworks.
- Anticipate and respond to global market trends, commodity price fluctuations, and emerging sourcing opportunities.
- Build and sustain strong, long-term relationships with both local and international suppliers.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms that deliver cost savings, innovation, and supply reliability.
- Conduct due diligence, risk assessments, and compliance checks to safeguard the company’s reputation and operations.
- Establish a data-driven procurement dashboard to monitor costs, supplier performance, and lead times.
- Drive process improvements through digitization, automation, and analytics to improve speed, transparency, and decision-making.
- Oversee import/export documentation, customs clearance, and international sourcing operations.
- Lead cost-reduction initiatives through strategic sourcing, supplier consolidation, alternative market development, and bulk procurement strategies.
- Identify opportunities for innovation and value creation in the supply chain.
