The individuals who fulfill the basic eligibility criteria below may apply:Rank: First Vice President (FVP) to Executive Vice President (EVP).Location: Head Office, Dhaka, Bangladesh.Strategy Development: Design and implement effective strategies for debt collection, loan restructuring, and workout processes to maximize recoveries. Develop and execute comprehensive strategies for the management and recovery of non-performing loans and classified assets.Team Management: Lead, motivate, and manage a team of recovery specialists, ensuring they are equipped to meet targets and maintain performance standards.Portfolio Management & Reporting: Actively manage the bank’s problematic loan book, including identifying and migrating at-risk loans. Implement effective early warning systems for potential asset quality deterioration. Submit reports on the portfolio, recovery efforts, and risk mitigation strategies to the authority.Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with internal departments and external stakeholders, including legal counsel and other relevant authorities, to resolve complex cases with a coordinated approach.Performance Monitoring: Monitor loan performance, provide management information, and recommend proactive measures to prevent loans from becoming non-performing.Dispute Resolution: Oversee the negotiation of payment plans and resolution of disputes with customers and clients. Negotiate and structure complex recovery plans, including restructurings, rescheduling, and legal actions.Special Asset Management: Strong understanding of country’s banking landscape and proven expertise in distressed asset management. Overseeing all aspects of the bank's special asset portfolio, including the identification, management, and recovery of non-performing loans (NPLs). Stay abreast of regulatory changes and industry best practices in special asset management.Compliance & Governance: To ensure compliance with Terms of References (ToRs), promoting honest and responsible behavior across the bank by following ethical codes and anti-corruption rules. Maintain accurate records for audits and regulatory reporting. Ensure all recovery activities are in line with local laws, regulations, and internal credit policies.
