Job Responsibilities

Job Description
Are you an experienced Information System Auditor looking for a challenging role in one of the largest microfinance institutions in the world? ASA is currently seeking qualified candidates to fill the position of Information System Auditor to enhance our internal auditing process and ensure the integrity of our information systems. As part of your critical role under the supervision of the Deputy Director (Audit), you will be responsible for performing in-depth reviews and assessments of our computer information systems, carrying out risk assessments, and helping maintain top-notch quality assurance processes. Prepare an annual plan for IS audits in collaboration with the Deputy Director (Audit). Conduct risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential risks. Perform comprehensive reviews of internal controls and security for developing information systems. Consult with management on issues related to computerized information systems. Deliver audit findings and prepare documentation to support completed audit reports. Train audit staff in computerized audit techniques. Perform operational, compliance, and financial audits as assigned. Follow up on implementation of audit recommendations. Qualifications: To qualify for this role, you must possess: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science & Engineering or similar field. At least 5 years of experience as an Information System Auditor. A Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) certification is a plus. Experience with IT infrastructure, network security, and databases. Strong communication skills and proficient in SQL.
