Job Responsibilities
- Check and verify daily collections from sales or other income sources.
- Ensure timely deposit of collections into the appropriate bank accounts.
- Maintain accurate records of all collection and deposit activities.
- Prepare and review monthly bank reconciliation statements.
- Identify and resolve discrepancies between bank statements and internal records.
- Maintain updated bank ledgers and documentation.
- Prepare supplier bills and ensure proper recording in the accounting system.
- Create and maintain receivable invoices for clients/customers.
- Follow up on outstanding receivables as per schedule.
- Assist in preparing financial reports and statements for internal use.
- Conduct basic financial analysis on revenue, expenses, and profitability.
- Support management with relevant financial data during audits and reviews.
- Record day-to-day financial transactions (journal entries, ledgers, etc.).
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
