Job Description
Southeast University, one of the most rapidly growing private universities in Bangladesh, is inviting applications for the position of Lab Assistant in the Animal House Lab. This is an excellent opportunity for dedicated individuals to contribute to the preparation, organization, and execution of laboratory classes and research experiments. As a Lab Assistant, you will be a vital part of our academic community. Your responsibilities will include: Assist in the preparation, organization, and execution of laboratory classes and research experiments. Maintain records of laboratory animals, experimental data, and inventory. Support the handling, care, and monitoring of laboratory animals following ethical guidelines. Prepare and sterilize equipment, instruments, and materials for laboratory use. Ensure compliance with institutional safety, biosafety, and animal welfare regulations. Assist faculty and researchers in experimental procedures and data collection. Manage stock of chemicals, feed, bedding, and laboratory supplies. Any other duties and responsibilities assigned by the University Management from time to time. The ideal candidate will have: Masters or equivalent degree in Science (graduation in Biology or related subjects is highly preferred) with a minimum CGPA of 2.75. Computer literacy and proficiency in English, both oral and written. At least one year of experience in relevant fields is preferable, though fresh graduates are encouraged to apply. A hardworking, honest, and innovative spirit, with the ability to meet tight deadlines. This full-time position requires working on-site at our Dhaka campus.
