Education Requirements

Job Responsibilities

• Collect and preserve patients’ biological samples including blood, urine, stool, sputum, and others.
• Perform Hematology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, and Serology tests.
• Properly operate and maintain laboratory equipment (Microscope, Analyzer, Centrifuge, Autoclave, etc.).
• Provide accurate test reports to assist in diagnosis.
• Deliver test reports to doctors and patients on time.
• Maintain laboratory sanitation and strictly follow biosafety protocols.
• Ensure Quality Control and follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) in all laboratory tests.
• Maintain professional and compassionate behavior with patients and their families.
• Take prompt action in emergency testing situations.
• Properly and safely disposes of hazardous and infectious waste and materials.
• Respects patient confidentiality laws.
• Receive, label, and analyze samples (blood, toxic, tissue, etc.).
• Design and execute laboratory testing according to standard procedures, make observations, and interpret findings.
• Conduct experiments under defined conditions to verify/reject various types of hypotheses using refined scientific methods.
• Organize and store all chemicals substances, fluids, and compressed gases according to safety instructions.
• Record all data and results in specified forms (paper and electronic) with accuracy and responsibility.
• Maintain equipment and assist in ordering laboratory supplies.
• Ensure that all safety guidelines are followed strictly at all times and maintain a clean and orderly environment.
