This full-time role offers an exciting opportunity for individuals who are committed to fostering a positive learning environment and pursuing excellence in teaching and research.As a Lecturer, your primary responsibilities will include delivering lectures, tutoring, and mentoring students while ensuring clarity and engagement in teaching methods.You will prepare comprehensive course materials that include syllabi, lecture notes, assignments, quizzes, and examinations in partnership with colleagues from the department.Assessment of student learning outcomes will be integral, where you will provide constructive feedback and support students in their academic growth.In addition to education, you are required to actively engage in research related to Mathematics and contribute to departmental operations.Your role will also involve academic mentoring, guiding students on course selection and career opportunities in both academia and industry.You will participate in professional development to stay updated on recent advancements in mathematical sciences.Collaboration with peers on interdisciplinary projects is also part of this exciting position.Qualifications and Requirements:A minimum of a 4-year / 3-year Honours Bachelor’s degree and a Master’s degree in Mathematics from a recognized university is required.Preference is given to those with an MPhil in Mathematics.Must have at least three first divisions/classes or A grades throughout academic qualifications.Candidates holding a foreign degree must provide an equivalence certificate from the University Grants Commission (UGC) of Bangladesh.Age limit is a maximum of 35 years, and prior teaching experience is an advantage.We encourage all candidates, regardless of gender, to apply.
