Job Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and legal documents.
- Represent the company in legal proceedings, especially in Labor Courts.
- Handle issues related to compliance with Bangladesh Labor Law 2006, Factories Act, and Environmental Regulations.
- Provide legal support in land-related matters, employment disputes, supplier issues, and government compliance.
- Prepare legal notices, replies, affidavits, and other court-related documents.
- Manage and maintain proper records of all litigation files, contracts, licenses, and other legal documentation.
- Handle insurance claims, legal liabilities, and coordinate with insurers and brokers.
- Maintain liaison with external legal counsel, law enforcement, and government agencies as required.
- Ensure legal documentation, safety of property titles, licenses, factory registrations, etc.
- Provide legal advice to management on all corporate, labor, and commercial matters.
- Assist HR/Admin in disciplinary processes, including show-cause notices, domestic inquiries, terminations, and final settlements.
- Any other tasks as assigned by the management.
Required Skills
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to draft legal documents in Bangla and English.
- Skilled in legal research and analysis.
