Job Responsibilities
- Oversee all Books of Accounts, including Sales, Sales Orders (SO), Delivery Orders (DO), Receivables, etc.
- Maintain close communication with banks, the National Board of Revenue (NBR), and other government agencies.
- Ensure proper classification of transactions in the ledger to assist in the preparation of financial statements.
- Develop and control a centralized accounting system for efficient account management.
- Ensure accurate deposits of monthly TDS (Tax Deducted at Source) and VDS (Value Added Tax) to authorities.
- Maintain compliance with internal and external auditors and ensure financial records align with NBR regulations.
- Supervise and ensure timely submission of corporate income tax, customs duties, and other tax returns.
- Prepare and submit VAT returns, maintaining comprehensive VAT records and handling related queries.
- Provide TDS certificates for deductions made from suppliers and keep management informed about changes in VAT regulations.
- Monitor inventory management to ensure proper material receiving and delivery according to documents.
- Ensure compliance with VAT, Tax, and other regulatory requirements under Bangladesh law.
- Prepare monthly, half-yearly, and annual inventory reports.
