Education Requirements
Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Environmental Science or any discipline with relevant experience.
Job Responsibilities
- Responsible for all compliance activity & coordination with the brand's sustainability team.
- Materialize all compliance procedures & follow them regularly as per settled SOP.
- Conduct social, technical, quality, fire, and chemical audits as per requirements of auditors/inspection authority.
- Renew all compliance certifications (SEDEX, BSCI, Oekotex, Higgs, WRAP, etc.) & Scope Certificates (OCS, RCS, GRS, GOTS) before expiry and collect relevant data from respective departments like Merchandising & Commercial.
- Implement and amend the Code of Conduct for a better working environment.
- Provide training and awareness programs for workers as assigned by customers/brands.
- Maintain good relationships with local unions and government organizations to update/renew legal documents.
- Monitor HR files of workers to ensure a safe working environment.
- Handle any disputes between workers, staff, or management.
- Possess vast knowledge in all aspects of compliance & sustainability.
- Capable of managing multi-location factories.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.
