Job Description
Position Overview:The Electrical & Fire Safety Manager at Group QA will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and operational efficiency of all electrical systems and fire safety infrastructure within the factory environment. This position demands expertise in managing electromechanical systems, enforcing compliance with national and international safety standards, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement to protect individuals and assets alike.Electrical Safety & MaintenanceSupervise the installation, inspection, operation, and maintenance of various electrical equipment (including HT/LT panels, generators, substations, UPS, and lighting systems).Monitor electrical load distribution to mitigate hazards and prevent operational downtime.Implement preventive and corrective maintenance schedules to ensure continuous production effectiveness.Optimize energy consumption through efficient practices to reduce electrical losses.Maintain meticulous records of electrical inspections, testing, and repairs for compliance and safety purposes.Adhere to all fire safety standards as mandated by RSC protocol.Fire Safety ManagementEnsure alignment with the Bangladesh National Building Code (BNBC), RSC protocols, the Fire Prevention Act, NFPA standards, and specific buyer requirements.Develop and implement robust fire safety programs along with evacuation procedures.Oversee the inspection, testing, and maintenance of fire detection systems, alarms, sprinkler systems, hydrants, and extinguishers.Conduct regular fire drills and emergency response training sessions, raising awareness among employees about fire safety procedures.Coordinate with the Fire Service & Civil Defence for audits and compliance certifications.Compliance & Risk ManagementEnsure adherence to safety protocols established by Accord, Alliance, RSC, and relevant buyer requirements.Conduct regular safety audits and risk assessments pertaining to electrical and fire systems.Identify hazards and develop corrective measures in conjunction with the maintenance team.Maintain comprehensive documentation for compliance with buyer expectations and safety audits.Qualifications and Experience:A minimum of 10 to 12 years of relevant experience in industries such as Garments, Textile, or Industrial Machineries.Proven track record in electrical installation and maintenance, fire safety management, and machine installation.Strong leadership and supervisory abilities to train and guide diverse maintenance teams.Skills:Expertise in electrical systems, fire detection, and suppression systems.Familiarity with BNBC, NFPA, FSCD regulations along with Accord/Alliance/RSC standards.Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.Benefits:Mobile bill reimbursement.Partially subsidized lunch facilities.Two festival bonuses annually.Additional service benefits as per labor laws.To learn more about this opportunity and to apply, please submit your application before the deadline on September 15, 2025.
