United Hospital Limited is excited to announce an opening for the position of Manager/Senior Manager - Biomedical Engineering to lead our engineering team dedicated to the functionality and maintenance of medical equipment. This key role is focused on ensuring that our biomedical engineering services run smoothly, thereby supporting our commitment to quality patient care in Dhaka, Bangladesh.As the Manager/Senior Manager, you will:Be responsible for the smooth functionality of biomedical engineering support, ensuring we provide optimal service to our medical facility.Advise our hospital administrators on the planning, acquisition, and effective use of medical equipment.Plan and initiate pre-installation requirements for biomedical machines, ensuring every aspect is considered for smooth installation.Determine the time, costs, resources, or materials required to perform work activities on medical equipment.Install, adjust, maintain, and repair biomedical equipment while providing technical support when required.Collaborate with technologists, chemists, and healthcare professionals to enhance the application of instrumentation in clinical settings.Manage leave and roster preparation for the biomedical department effectively.Evaluate the safety, efficiency, and effectiveness of all biomedical equipment.Conduct training sessions for end users and other personnel on the proper utilization of equipment.Communicate effectively with other departments regarding our equipment's functionality.Maintain thorough records of daily service reports, under service report, and breakdown register.Authorize and follow up on the requirements for biomedical machine parts and ensure effective preventive maintenance.This is not just a job title; this is a crucial position where your abilities will truly make a difference in our hospital's operation.Qualifications:B.Sc./M.Sc. in Biomedical Engineering, Electrical & Electronic Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering.At least 7 years of experience within the hospital sector, with minimum 5 years in a managerial role in a biomedical engineering department.Applicants should additionally demonstrate excellent collaboration and teamwork skills, adept planning and budgeting capabilities, alongside strong problem-solving and communication skills.Age limit for this position is a maximum of 45 years.What We Offer:Competitive salary package and benefits, including profit sharing and gratuity.Partially subsidized lunch facilities.Two festival bonuses annually.Attractive compensation designed for the right candidate.If you're ready to take on this challenge, we encourage you to apply today!
