Job Description

Panna Group is on the lookout for a passionate and analytical Manager/Sr. Manager-Cost & Budget. This is a prime opportunity for someone with a strong background in cost management and budgeting to join a reputable company. Your main responsibilities will include: Planning, studying, and collecting data to determine production costs and operational efficiencies. Analyzing data and recording detailed results to aid management decisions. Conducting profitability analyses for various products, brands, and segments. Preparing fixed and flexible budgets, comparing them with actual results, and proposing corrective action plans. Engaging in standard costing and job order costing for both local markets and exports. Setting product prices based on thorough analysis and market conditions. Evaluating project proposals to ensure sound investment choices. Monitoring daily production performance and finding ways to enhance efficiency. Reviewing variances in production costs and maintaining careful oversight on scrap and inventory costs. Collaborating closely with manufacturing engineering and product development teams to ensure accurate costing. Performing monthly sales and profitability forecasting along with variance analysis. Providing insightful reports to management focusing on factors impacting prices and profitability. To be considered for this role, the following qualifications are necessary: Educational Background: MBA in Accounting & Finance or a Master’s in Accounting, with a preference for candidates who have completed CA CC or are ICMAB qualified. Experience: At least 7-10 years of experience in related fields such as manufacturing, garments, or electronics. Skill Set: Adept in Cost Management, Budget Control, Pricing Strategies, and Product Costing. Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint is essential. Strong analytical abilities with sound decision-making skills. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work in a multicultural team environment. Fluency in English, both written and spoken. Able to thrive under pressure and meet tight deadlines without sacrificing quality. Additional Requirements: Age between 35 to 45 years. Must have experience as Manager/Sr. Manager in Cost Accounting.
