Position OverviewIf you're passionate about supply chain management and looking to take on an exciting leadership role, Utah Group is seeking a Manager for Dyes and Chemicals to spearhead our supply chain operations. This position is vital to enhancing our operational efficiency while ensuring an uninterrupted supply of high-quality dyes and chemicals.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement innovative supply chain strategies tailored for dyes and chemicals to optimize operational performance and minimize costs.Oversee the complete supply chain process, ensuring timely deliveries and strict compliance with quality benchmarks.Identify and evaluate potential vendors, fostering strong relationships with both new and existing suppliers.Negotiate vendor-related agreements, clear bills, conduct audits, and maintain performance ratings.Plan and supervise purchasing operations across all factory units, ensuring optimal stock levels.Maintain comprehensive records of purchases, vendor contracts, and supply chain performance.Ensure compliance with safety regulations involving the handling, storage, and transportation of chemicals.Work collaboratively with suppliers and internal teams to uphold optimal inventory levels and prevent shortages or overstocking.Lead and mentor the procurement team to bolster efficiency and procurement strategies.Coordinate with Production, Quality, and Finance departments to align procurement processes with overarching business objectives.Required Skills and QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering.A minimum of 10 years of experience in supply chain management, particularly within the garments and chemicals sector.Expertise in vendor management and procurement practices.Strong negotiation and analytical skills, with proficiency in inventory management software.Exceptional communication abilities, capable of influencing stakeholders at various levels.Strong organizational skills with a proactive problem-solving approach.Company OverviewUtah Group is a premier 100% export-oriented company specializing in garments, textile, knitting, spinning, washing, printing, and labels.
