Job Responsibilities
- Conduct initial assessments of all admitted patients as per hospital policy.

Job Description

The role is crucial to our healthcare team, focusing on delivering expert medical attention and supporting clinical programs. As a Medical Officer, your responsibilities will include: Conducting initial assessments of all patients following hospital policy and ordering necessary investigations and treatments as per primary consultants' instructions. Attending to patients immediately upon admission, reviewing previous reports, and promptly informing the relevant consultants. Responding to on-call duties by attending to patients and conducting investigations while maintaining privacy and confidentiality. Performing daily assessments and reassessments for inpatients, as well as seeing referral patients and briefing consultants. Sending patients for urgent investigations as directed by primary consultants. Completing inpatient rounds daily, filling out case sheets, progress notes, and maintaining all necessary documentation. Continuously monitoring patient progress, revising management plans as necessary, and responding effectively to medical and surgical emergencies. Managing and supporting all related clinical activities in the absence of the primary consultant. Ensuring service delivery through good relationships with patients and colleagues while upholding professional ethical standards and respect for patients' rights. Providing relevant investigations and treatment while maintaining accurate medical records. Preparing discharge summaries in a timely manner and briefing patients about their discharge medications.
