Job Responsibilities
- Provide basic health guidelines to the Employees.
- Conduct routine check-ups to patients to assess their health condition and identify possible issues.
- Give appropriate advice for healthy habits (diet, hygiene etc.) and preventative actions to promote overall health status.
- Recommend sick leave of the workers and staff according to company’s rules and regulations.
- Perform medical examinations and issue fitness certificate at the time of recruitment.
- Organize seminars on hygiene, first aid, occupational health or any epidemic breakout.

Job Description
At ECTA Dhaka Ltd., we are currently seeking an experienced Medical Officer to join our team in Savar, Dhaka. This role is crucial as you will play a significant part in ensuring the health and well-being of our employees, focusing particularly on preventing the spread of illnesses such as COVID-19 through effective medical practices. Provide health guidelines to employees to promote overall health. Conduct routine check-ups to assess the health conditions of staff and identify potential health issues. Advise on healthy habits including diet and hygiene, implementing preventative actions for various health concerns. Recommend sick leave in accordance with the company’s policies. Perform medical examinations for recruitment and issue fitness certificates as needed. Organize seminars on hygiene, first aid, and occupational health to keep our workforce informed. Requirements: Education: Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from a recognized medical college. Experience: A minimum of 2 years in the medical field, preferably in the garments or industrial health sector. Skills: Familiarity with obstetrical and gynecological cases, minor surgeries, and industrial health practices is preferred.
