Job Responsibilities
- Assist in the admission, discharge, and daily care of patients with hematologic disorders and those undergoing stem cell transplantation.
- Monitor and document patient progress, including vital signs, laboratory results, and clinical status, under the supervision of consultants.
- Identify and report signs of complications.
- Assist in procedures such as bone marrow aspirations, biopsies, and stem cell infusions as guided by senior clinicians.
- Prepare patients for diagnostic tests, chemotherapy, or other treatments by explaining procedures and obtaining informed consent.
- Collaborate with nurses, pharmacists, and other healthcare providers to ensure the implementation of treatment plans.
- Facilitate communication between patients, families, and the care team to address concerns and provide updates.
