Job Responsibilities
- Ensure proper documentation of patient information and daily entry into appropriate databases is maintained.
- Facilitate timely referrals of emergency cases to functioning secondary health facilities or hospitals when required.
- Attend to all medical/ surgical emergencies and conduct minor surgical procedures when required.
- Conduct regular, thorough examinations on newborns and young children to check and record their health and normal physical development.
- Examine sick children to determine their condition and ask intuitive questions to gather information about symptoms.
- Advise parents on children's diet, exercise, and disease preventive measures
- Examine and diagnose patients.
- Prescribe medications and treatment.
- Respond to emergency cases and provide immediate treatment.
- Keep updated records of patients' illnesses, surgeries, or other medical episodes.
- Attend OPD/indoor patients/ward & cabins
- Prescribe and interpret appropriate lab tests to gain more information for possible infections or abnormalities
- Direct and coordinate activities of nurses, assistants, specialists, therapists, and other medical staff.
- Perform or assist in major/minor procedures.
- Ensure availability of essential drugs and supplies.
- Participate in training activities.
- Maintain confidentiality and uphold medical ethics.
- Carry out tasks assigned by the top management.
- Actively seeks new ways of improving programs or services.

Strong knowledge of clinical medicine and surgery practices. Excellent communication skills with the ability to write clear reports. Ability to work under pressure in challenging conditions.
