Job Description
Join FCI (BD) Ltd. as a Merchandiser, focusing on the needs of our esteemed PVH buyers. This critical position plays a vital role in the lifecycle of our orders from inception to completion, allowing for a dynamic and engaging work environment. The successful candidate will: Monitor orders from start to finish while developing effective merchandising strategies. Analyze sales figures, customer feedback, and market trends to predict product needs. Work collaboratively with buyers, suppliers, and distribution teams to negotiate pricing and timetables. Review tech packs and source necessary materials for product development. Log sample requests and manage bulk production details. Prepare costing proposals for customers and negotiate agreements to secure business. Provide ongoing trend analysis to elevate product presentations. Maintain strong communication channels with clients and suppliers to enhance strategic relationships. Forecast order placement times based on customer interactions. Develop collections that resonate with current fashion trends based on design inputs. To be eligible for this role, candidates should possess the following: Bachelor of Science (BSc) degrees in Textile Technology or Apparel Merchandising. A minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in the garments industry. Proficient computer skills and effective communication in English. A proactive and positive attitude.
