Job Responsibilities
- Act as the key contact point for international buyers.
- Handle inquiries, costing, and order negotiations.
- Develop and maintain strong business relationships with buyers to ensure long-term collaboration.
- Ensure timely response to buyer queries and approvals.
- Prepare pre-costing, consumption, and price negotiation.
- Confirm orders with buyers ensuring profitability.
- Prepare order sheets and internal costing for production.
- Monitor order status with production, fabric sourcing, and accessories teams.
- Coordinate with planning, procurement, and production to ensure smooth order execution.
- Follow up on fabric approval, delivery, and inventory management.
- Work with QA team to meet buyer quality standards.
- Ensure all buyer requirements, compliance, and testing standards are met.
- Handle corrective actions for any quality or compliance issues.
- Ensure on-time shipment as per buyer requirements.
- Coordinate with commercial/logistics team for booking, documentation, and delivery.
- Resolve issues related to customs, export documentation, and shipment delays.
- Lead other merchandisers and assistants in order follow-up.
- Prepare weekly order status reports for management.
- Maintain order T&A (Time & Action) plan and ensure deadlines are met.

Below are the detailed responsibilities and requirements for this role: Key Responsibilities Buyer Communication & Order Management Act as the key contact point for international buyers, handling all inquiries, costing, and order negotiations. Develop and maintain strong business relationships with buyers to ensure long-lasting collaborations. Ensure timely responses to buyer queries and approvals. Costing & Order Confirmation Prepare pre-costing, consumption analysis, and price negotiations. Confirm orders with buyers, ensuring profitability and preparing order sheets for internal production processes. Production & Supply Chain Coordination Monitor order status with production, fabric sourcing, and accessories teams. Coordinate with planning, procurement, and production to ensure smooth order execution. Quality & Compliance Work closely with the QA team to meet buyer quality standards and ensure compliance with all buyer requirements. Handle corrective actions for quality or compliance issues as they arise. Shipment & Documentation Management Ensure on-time shipment of goods according to buyer requirements. Coordinate with the commercial/logistics team for booking, documentation, and delivery tasks. Team Collaboration & Reporting Lead other merchandisers and assistants in order follow-up. Prepare weekly reports on order statuses for management review. Qualifications Required Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Textile Engineering is mandatory. 4 to 8 years of experience in merchandising, specifically in garments and textiles. Must possess strong knowledge of the product development and costing processes. Excellent communication and negotiation skills, especially in English. Proficiency in MS Office and ability to handle reporting tasks. Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet stringent deadlines. Preferably, applicants must be male.
