Job Responsibilities
- Handle day-to-day merchandising operations.
- Develop and follow-up on samples as per designer requirements.
- Communicate effectively with suppliers for fabric, trims, and accessories.
- Coordinate daily operational activities related to fabric, pre-production sample development, and costing.
- Monitor sample development and production timelines to ensure requirements are met.
- Follow up with factories on production and related procedures.
- Prepare action plans for time and sourcing, ensuring their execution.
- Calculate fabric, trims, and accessories consumption and prepare bookings.
- Review production samples with the technical department to ensure compliance with standards.
- Maintain weekly progress reports on all orders and outstanding issues.
- Coordinate with production, quality, and marketing departments for timely delivery.
- Ensure all fabrics and accessories are on site for production deadlines.
- Keep the Head of Operations updated on any production exceptions.
- Perform other tasks assigned by management.
