Job Responsibilities
- Work closely with production, quality control /QA Team to manage all aspects of quality.
- Handle sample development and approval process efficiently.
- Get approvals on lab dips and manage accessories & trims in-housing.
- Collaborate with the quality department on quality requirements.
- Provide shipping instructions and ensure shipment follow-up.
- Conduct costing and pricing analysis as needed.
- Coordinate with the commercial department regarding documentation.
- Maintain regular updates to the Senior Merchandiser based on assigned tasks.
- Correspond with buyers and fulfill their requirements.
- Ensure all tasks are managed systematically.

About the Role Are you ready to take your merchandising skills to the next level? As a Merchandiser (Sweater) at Skylark Knit Composite Ltd., you will play a crucial role in ensuring our sweater products meet the highest quality standards. Your expertise will guide our production and quality control teams from initial concept to final product, making a significant impact on our brand and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities Work closely with production and quality control teams to manage quality at every stage. Handle sample development and approval processes to ensure buyer satisfaction. Oversee the approval of lab dips and manage in-housing of accessories & trims. Collaborate with the quality department to meet quality requirements. Mediation between production and quality departments. Provide shipping instructions and ensure timely shipment follow-ups. Conduct costing and pricing analyses. Coordinate with the commercial department on necessary documentation. Report on assignments and day-to-day updates to the Senior Merchandiser. Maintain correspondence with buyers to fulfill their requirements. Ensure consistent management of emails and tasks. Perform additional tasks as directed by management. Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess: Bachelor's degree in any discipline, with a preference for Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Textile Engineering. At least 5 years of experience in garments or buying houses. Proven skills in buyer communication, costing merchandising, and logistics management. Excellent documentation skills and an understanding of fabric merchandising. Skills Required Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Self-motivated, organized, and responsible. Computer literacy is essential.
