Job Description
The International Labour Organization (ILO) in Dhaka is seeking applications from qualified candidates for the position of National Consultant to deliver comprehensive capacity building training on Maternity Protection in selected ready-made garment (RMG) factories. This is a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on working conditions in Bangladesh's garment sector.Job Responsibilities:Design and deliver training programs focused on Maternity Protection tailored for the context of RMG factories.Collaborate with factory management and staff to ensure effective training delivery.Monitor and evaluate the impact of training initiatives and report on outcomes.Provide ongoing support and guidance to factory staff as needed.Participate in relevant meetings and forums to showcase training successes and seek feedback for improvement.Required Skills:Proven experience in training delivery, specifically in a corporate or industrial setting.Strong understanding of labor rights and women's health issues in the workplace.Ability to communicate effectively across different cultures and languages.Excellent project management and organizational skills.Proficient in Microsoft Office and related software for reporting and presentations.Qualifications:A degree in Social Sciences, Human Resource Management, or related fields is preferred.Experience in the garment industry is a plus.Fluency in English and Bengali.This is a full-time position based anywhere in Bangladesh.
