Job Description
Role Purpose:At Concern Worldwide, we are looking for a dedicated Nurse who will be instrumental in overseeing the medical assessment and treatment of malnourished children and pregnant and lactating women (PLWs) within our Out-patient Therapeutic Feeding Programs (OTP) and Targeted Supplementary Feeding Programs (TSFP) in Cox's Bazar. This position plays a critical role in identifying at-risk children and ensuring they receive appropriate treatment and referrals based on standards of care.The Nurse will be responsible for:Conducting thorough medical assessments for malnourished children and PLWs.Implementing nutritional education and counseling for caregivers to promote compliance and successful healing.Coordinating with outreach teams to track patient progress and improve outcomes.Leading registration and distribution processes for Severe Acute Malnutrition (SAM) and Moderate Acute Malnutrition (MAM) children.Supporting CMAM-I medical assessments for infants under six months of age.Performing additional responsibilities assigned by supervisors related to project needs.Desired Qualifications:Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Nursing or Diploma in Nursing.2 to 3 years of prior nursing experience preferably in an NGO setting.Technical expertise in Community Management of Acute Malnutrition (CMAM) and Infant and Young Child Feeding (IYCF) programming is preferred.Field experience in Rohingya refugee programs will be an added advantage.Benefits Include:Festival allowance and Baisakhi allowance.Provident fund and Gratuity schemes.Group Life and Hospitalisation Insurance coverage.Outpatient department (OPD) coverage.Mobile ceiling allowances and other admissible benefits following our organizational policy.If you are ready to make a significant impact in the lives of the vulnerable in Bangladesh, we encourage you to apply.To view the full job description, click the link: Job Details and Application
