Fakir Apparels Ltd. is excited to announce an opening for the position of Officer - Fabric Quality in our esteemed organization. As a leader in the knit textile industry, we are searching for a highly motivated and detail-oriented professional to oversee the quality of knitted fabrics from production to delivery. In this critical role, you will: Conduct thorough in-process inspections of knitted fabrics at various production stages including yarn inspection, knitting monitoring, and finished fabric reviews. Document defects and initiate corrective actions to enhance quality. Maintain comprehensive records of quality inspections and testing outcomes. Engage in root cause analysis for quality issues and implement effective solutions. Set forth and uphold quality control procedures and standards. Analyze quality data trends and recommend improvements. Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with quality management systems. Work closely with production teams to enhance quality metrics and efficiency. Communicate effectively with customers to address quality-related concerns. Provide fabric technical support and handle customer complaints professionally. Train production staff in quality control protocols and best practices. Keep abreast of industry trends and advancements in quality management. Required Qualifications: Bachelor of Business Studies (BBS), Diploma in Textile Engineering, or Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Textile Technology. Minimum of 2 years experience in quality control or fabric inspection within the garments/textile industry. Strong skills in fabric development and excellent communication. Ability to work under pressure and lead a team effectively. Preferred age range is 24 to 32 years. This is a Full Time position based at our office located in Narayanganj.
