Job Responsibilities
- Actively assist senior production staff and supervisors in executing daily wash programs as per technical sheets (desizing, bleaching, dyeing, softening, curing).
- Learn and monitor basic operation of washing, drying, hydro-extractor, and special finishing machines (e.g., laser, ozone).
- Assist in accurate measurement and preparation of chemical solutions, dyes, and finishing agents, following safety protocols.
- Support execution of new wash trials and sample developments; coordinate sample and raw material movement.
- Conduct regular visual in-process inspections to identify and report quality issues (uneven shade, staining, damage).
- Monitor and report daily production output against planned targets.
- Track movement of garments (WIP) through the wash cycle to prevent bottlenecks.
- Maintain detailed logs of batch records, chemical consumption, machine downtime, and inspection reports.
- Coordinate with store department to ensure timely availability of chemicals, finishing agents, and accessories.
