Job Description
Roshawa Group is seeking an experienced Officer for Transport Management to oversee and optimize our transport operations in Gazipur. As a critical member of our team, you will be entrusted with a wide range of responsibilities focusing on ensuring effective transportation logistics within the company. This position is vital for maintaining our commitment to delivering high-quality service and products in the textile industry. Job Responsibilities: Handle shift's drivers & helpers grievances, road expenses, unloading labor availability, and resolving instant road obstructions under acceptable manner. Develop and implement transport schedules with approvals. Lead planning, allocation of routes and vehicles; resolve transport-related issues as they arise. Monitor vehicles' movement according to selected routes, ensuring timely lead delivery. Maintain up-to-date shift-wise transport reports. Ensure 100% uninterrupted loading and timely vehicle departures. Takeover transport's shift operation properly from the previous driver. Assign vehicles to drivers and allocate routes with the Administration Manager's coordination. Regularly follow up on drivers and vehicle activities. Instruct drivers on refueling and maintaining vehicle cleanliness. Conduct regular initiatives for timely refueling of vehicles from designated fuel stations. Report maintenance and repair needs for transportation vehicles, ensuring proper servicing activities. Inspect vehicle engines and components to diagnose issues accurately. Perform routine maintenance aiming for vehicle functionality and longevity. Ensure accurate documentation on fuel slips and logbooks. Organize training sessions for drivers under supervision. Manage driver recruitment to maintain adequate staffing. Ensure all worker vehicles are present 15 minutes before shift changes. Any other responsibilities assigned by the reporting superior as necessary. Required Qualifications: At least a Master's degree or a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Engineering in Automobile. A minimum of 3 years of experience in relevant fields such as Garments, Textile, Spinning, or Motor Vehicle Body Manufacturing. Age: At least 25 years, male candidates only.
