Job Responsibilities

  • Examine tissue, cell, and fluid specimens (histopathology, cytology, clinical pathology) to identify disease patterns and provide accurate diagnoses.
  • Review and sign off pathology reports with precise medical terminology and clinical relevance.
  • Collaborate closely with clinicians and multidisciplinary teams (MDTs) to support evidence-based treatment planning, especially for cancer and complex cases.
  • Supervise and ensure the accuracy, quality control, and safety protocols of laboratory operations.
  • Perform and interpret specialized diagnostic tests including immunohistochemistry (IHC), molecular testing (e.g., PCR), and hematological analysis.
  • Participate in autopsy procedures (where applicable) and prepare medicolegal documentation as needed.
  • Guide and train junior doctors, medical technologists, and interns within the pathology department.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of diagnostic advancements and ensure compliance with national and institutional standards.
  • Contribute to academic activities, clinical research, and case discussions within the hospital or medical college setting.

Who We're Looking For: A Clinical Pathologist with experience in Hematology and Laboratory Medicine. Must have a background in diagnostic centers or hospitals.
