Job Description
Are you a dedicated pharmacist passionate about providing exceptional patient care? Dhaka Progressive Lions Eye Hospital is seeking a skilled pharmacist to join our dynamic team. With a focus on accuracy, compliance, and patient-friendly service, you will play a crucial role in our pharmacy operations.Accurately dispense prescription and over-the-counter medications, ensuring proper labeling and patient counseling on usage, dosage, potential side effects, and storage.Review prescriptions for accuracy, completeness, drug interactions, and contraindications.Maintain meticulous records of prescriptions, patient profiles, inventory, and all pharmacy operations following regulatory requirements.Ensure compliance with the Pharmacy Ordinance 1976, Drug Control Act, 1982, and other relevant laws and guidelines set by the Bangladesh Pharmacy Council and DGDA.Provide professional counseling to patients about their medications and health concerns.Conduct regular checks for expiry dates and proper storage of all products.Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes and medication management.Participate in continuous professional development programs to remain updated in the field.Handle customer inquiries and complaints effectively.Maintain a clean and organized pharmacy environment.Qualifications:Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Pharmacy or Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) required.Master of Science (MSc) in Pharmacy or Master of Pharmacy (M.Pharm) preferred.Must be an A-Grade Registered Pharmacist with the Bangladesh Pharmacy Council.Experience Requirement:Minimum of 2 years of experience in a hospital setting.Freshers are also encouraged to apply.Skills Required:Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical laws, drug interactions, and dosage calculations.Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with diverse individuals.Proficiency in MS Office and experience with pharmacy management software.Job Benefits:Attractive SalaryGood Work EnvironmentYearly IncrementThis position is full-time and requires working at our office located in Narayanganj, Narsingdi, Dhaka (Gulshan).
