Job Description
BRIDGE CHEMIE is actively seeking a dedicated and experienced Production Manager to lead our technical teams to success. This is an excellent opportunity to play a critical role in the effective management of our production processes in the vibrant city of Dhaka, Bangladesh. The ideal candidate will bring with them a wealth of knowledge and expertise, especially in the field of metal fabrication for construction hardware. As a Production Manager, your responsibilities will include: Leading a diverse team of technical professionals, consisting of approximately 30 members. Overseeing store operations and managing inventory effectively. Ensuring production efficiency and adhering to strict deadlines. Understanding and implementing metal fabrication processes tailored for hardware such as tower bolts, locks, and ladders. Facilitating communication and coordination with the Operations and Sales teams to provide timely updates on production. Overseeing the quality control (QC) process during daily production activities. Mentoring team members and optimizing manufacturing workflows for better productivity. Leading new product development initiatives and executing production plans for door and furniture hardware. Managing the purchase and procurement of materials for workshop production. In this role, you will also be responsible for: Implementing safety practices across the production floor. Monitoring machine operations, including casting, pressing, and the assembly of fittings. Conducting regular reviews of production processes to identify areas for improvement. The requirements for this position include: A Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Mechanical Engineering. Extensive experience of 5 to 8 years in a manufacturing environment. Strong skills in capacity planning, process optimization, and manufacturing. Male candidates aged 30 to 40 years are preferred. Experience with CNC machines and CAD/CAM systems would be a significant advantage.
