Job Description
We are looking for a dynamic Production Manager who will be responsible for the Jacquard / Finishing / Linking Department in a Sweater Factory. This important role is pivotal in orchestrating the production processes and ensuring the highest quality standards are met.The position is based in Gacha, Chayadana, Gazipur and we are looking for candidates who have a robust understanding of jacquard programming, particularly with machines such as SHIMA SEIKI, Beworth, and RUINING TIGER.Execute jacquard programming accurately with a strong problem-solving capacity.Ensure 100% utilization of the factory's knitting capacity.Oversee the preparation of knitting plans in line with fabric TNA (Time and Action) and coordinate with the planning team for On-Time Delivery (OTD).Maintain close collaboration with external factories, production, and planning teams to ensure smooth operations.Work with internal marketing and technical teams to drive innovation, follow fashion trends, and meet buyer requirements.Plan and direct activities in collaboration with department heads as necessary.Review and address complaint trends and product/component failures effectively.Ensure timely delivery of goods to the linking section.Perform any other tasks assigned by management.Required Qualifications:Bachelor’s/Honors degree in a relevant field.At least 10 years of experience, preferably within the Sweater Industry or a Group of Companies.Strong communication skills in English and Bengali, both verbal and written.Ability to work independently and in a team environment.High adaptability and ability to work under pressure.Proficiency with IT equipment.Benefits:Attractive compensation and benefits packages.Annual salary review.Yearly festival bonuses (2).Mobile bill coverage.Group insurance coverage.If you meet the above requirements and are looking for a challenging and rewarding opportunity in the production sector, we encourage you to apply for this role.
