Job Description
American International University-Bangladesh (AIUB) is seeking enthusiastic, qualified, and passionate faculty members to join our esteemed Faculty of Business Administration (FBA). The ideal candidate will engage in a wide range of responsibilities and fulfill several academic criteria, and we encourage applications from all qualified individuals. Job Responsibilities: Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in one or more of the following areas: Accounting, Finance, Human Resource Management (HRM), Management Information Systems (MIS), Marketing, and Operations and Supply Chain Management (OSCM). Develop and implement innovative teaching methods and promote active learning among students. Participate in curriculum development and the continuous improvement of academic programs. Engage in academic research and publish in reputable journals. Supervise student research projects and thesis work. Represent the department in various university committees and participate in community outreach initiatives. Provide academic advising and mentorship to students. Requirements: PhD/DBA or an equivalent degree in a relevant discipline from a reputed foreign university. Minimum of 14 years of professional/corporate experience, including at least 7 years in active teaching at the post of Assistant Professor or above. At least 5 years in the post of Associate Professor. A minimum of 15 publications in standard and reputed academic journals. First classes/divisions in all examinations; a minimum CGPA of 3.5 out of 4.00 for all Arts & Social Science disciplines. Skills Required: Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Passion for teaching and ability to inspire students. Research proficiency and publication record.
