Job Responsibilities
- Establish and manage the Legal Impact Hub Secretariat in coordination with RMMRU.
- Define and engage an Advisory Committee comprising key stakeholders.
- Organize outreach meetings, consultations, and workshops with government, legal, and civil society actors.
- Develop and implement training programs for pro bono lawyers on trafficking laws, ILO Conventions, Palermo Protocol, and national legislation.
- Lead peer-learning sessions and capacity-building workshops for legal practitioners.
- Oversee case analysis, data collection, and development of a prototype/model for trafficking case proceedings.
- Facilitate orientation and case-handling under the Hub’s framework, ensuring effective case management.
- Monitor and evaluate the progress of all Legal Impact Hub activities, documenting achievements, challenges, and lessons learned.
- Organize national consultations and conferences to share best practices and advance policy advocacy.
- Any other related task assigned by RMMRU authority.

Job Description
At RMMRU, we are on the lookout for a dedicated Programme Officer (Legal) who will spearhead the establishment and management of our Legal Impact Hub Secretariat, directly making a difference in the field of human trafficking law and legal advocacy. Establish and manage the Legal Impact Hub Secretariat in coordination with RMMRU. Define and engage an Advisory Committee comprising key stakeholders. Organize outreach meetings, consultations, and workshops with government, legal, and civil society actors. Develop and implement training programs for pro bono lawyers on trafficking laws, ILO Conventions, Palermo Protocol, and national legislation. Who We Are Looking For: The ideal candidate should possess: Bachelor of Law (LLB) or Master of Law (LLM). A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in legal program management, human trafficking cases, or legal advocacy. Strong coordination, project management, and stakeholder engagement skills. Knowledge of trafficking laws, international conventions, and policy frameworks. Excellent communication, report-writing, and analytical skills. Strong leadership and interpersonal communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office. Location and Employment Details: This position is based in Dhaka, Bangladesh, with a full-time work nature. The applicants should be at most 40 years old.
