Job Responsibilities
- Ensure the smooth day-to-day project implementation and operations
- Project planning, monitoring, evaluation, and reporting (PMER)
- Assist the team leader in all project programming aspects
- Ensure new staff are oriented to the projects
- Involve in the recruitment process and recommend capable staff
- Attend PMT meetings and resolve conflicts as per policy
- Collaborate with finance personnel for smooth operations
- Engage in negotiations with Local Partners, UN, and NGOs
- Ensure compliance with procurement and safety protocols
- Represent RDRS in coordination meetings and provide visibility
- Fulfill other duties as assigned

Job Description
A. Summary of ProjectRDRS Bangladesh is implementing an emergency response program titled “RDRS Emergency Response Program (RERP)” in the Rohingya camps and surrounding host communities in Cox’s Bazar district since 2019. This program is crucial in meeting humanitarian needs and enhancing resilience among the Forcibly Displaced Myanmar Nationals (FDMNs) and host communities. The RERP focuses on various initiatives including income generating activities, tree plantation, life skills training related to livelihoods, and leadership development.B. Summary of PositionUnder the supervision of the Team Leader, the Project Manager will be responsible for planning, organizing, coordinating, and overseeing the successful implementation of the RERP projects. This role not only includes managing day-to-day project activities but also requires innovative problem-solving and teamwork to achieve organizational goals.C. Description of ResponsibilitiesThe Project Manager will be tasked with:Managing the daily operations of the project effectively;Leading project planning, monitoring, evaluation, and reporting (PMER);Collaborating with the team leader on various aspects of the project including Drug and Environment Protection, Livelihood, and health-related interventions;Assisting in recruitment and ensuring a gender-sensitive approach to hiring;Facilitating communication and negotiation with local partners, UN agencies, and NGOs;Ensuring compliance with procurement processes and safety protocols;Representing RDRS at various coordination meetings and events;Performing any additional duties as assigned by the team leader.We are looking for individuals with the following qualifications:A minimum of a Master’s degree in relevant fields such as Forestry, Agriculture, Anthropology, or Social Science;At least 7 years of experience in NGO or development agencies;Proficient in communication and leadership skills;Strong problem-solving abilities and capacity to work under pressure.Why Join Us?At RDRS Bangladesh, we offer competitive salaries, which range around BDT 85,000 to 110,500 monthly, and additional benefits such as:Travel Allowance (T/A) and Mobile Bill;Festival Bonus twice a year;Other benefits according to organizational policy and availability.We encourage all qualified candidates to apply before the deadline of 2025-09-07.
