Job Description
The Bangladesh Red Crescent Society (BDRCS) is seeking a competent Project Manager to lead its vital EU-funded project titled "Pathways to Healing: A Survivor-Centred Approach to Address Violence and Human Rights Violations in Bangladesh". This position is crucial in executing humanitarian efforts in Bangladesh, emphasizing rights and necessities of survivors.With a history of over 48 years, BDRCS is the largest volunteer-based humanitarian organization in Bangladesh, providing essential services to the most vulnerable populations. As a Project Manager, you will be instrumental in ensuring that project goals align with the broader aims of humanitarian response, disaster management, and health improvement.Lead the implementation of project objectives and ensure adherence to the work plan.Oversee financial management and budgeting for project-related expenditures.Coordinate effectively with a range of stakeholders including IFRC and local partners.Foster a collaborative teamwork environment to enhance project success.Develop and submit regular reports to the management outlining project progress and challenges.Requirements:Education: Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS), Master of Science (MSc) in Public Health.Experience: At least 7 years in health program management, preferably involving EU funded projects.Skills: Proficient in project planning, budgeting, and compliance management.
