Job Responsibilities
- Improving the beneficiaries` mental health, well-being, and psychosocial condition
- Supporting the social workers and CPV by providing guidance and capacity building for activities related to MHPSS
- Implementing on-the-job training of social workers and CPV within the framework of GK and Partners standards
- Assessing the beneficiaries` psychological condition using psychological tools
- Conducting individual sessions and group support for mental health cases
- Organizing outreach activities and psychological consultations when needed
- Identifying training needs for health staff and creating timely reports regarding MHPSS activities
- Ensuring that patient confidentiality is respected and that all services meet ethical standards of care
- Participating in meetings with stakeholders and community health committees when necessary
- Completing clinical documentation accurately and on time.

With a mission that emphasizes the fate of the poor as pivotal to the country’s future, GK has partnered with UNHCR since 2017 to address the Rohingya crisis. Role Overview: As a Psychologist at GK, you will play a critical role in supporting the mental health and well-being of beneficiaries in the Rohingya community. You will be responsible for: Improving mental health, well-being, and psychosocial conditions of beneficiaries. Providing guidance and training to social workers and community health volunteers. Assessing beneficiaries' psychological conditions and implementing mental health activities. Conducting individual and group therapy sessions. Facilitating outreach activities and addressing training needs within your team. Ensuring patient confidentiality and managing all cases with respect and dignity. Documenting clinical reports accurately and timely. Qualifications: Master of Science (MSc) in Psychology. At least 1 year of relevant experience, especially in a Rohingya context. Fluency in English and proficiency in MS Office. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work in a stressful camp environment. Additional Requirements: Age: 25 to 40 years, Female only. Strong organizational and time management skills. Flexibility to undertake additional responsibilities as needed. Compensation and Benefits: Salary range: Tk. 72,000 - 85,000 monthly. Mobile bill coverage, insurance, and two holidays a week. First engagement will be until December 31, 2025, with potential for extension based on funding.
