Job Responsibilities
- Follow up, monitor and supervise QMS requirements
- To run successfully QMS throughout the whole manufacturing unit from warehouse to shipment
- Train up quality inspectors on quality requirements and concepts
- Develop quality SOP and quality Manual for quality management
- Implement Total Quality Management for Continual Improvement.
- Implement all technical requirements of buyers for audits
- Conduct internal audits and work with all section heads for improvement
- Implement 5S housekeeping standards and train departments on it
- Deploy appropriate quality procedures in every section
- Collaborate with customer representatives for quality understanding
- Manage Quality Metrics & KPI reporting
- Maintain Technical Files and Document Control
- Implement Lean manufacturing and Six Sigma for quality improvement
- Analyze statistical data periodically for improvement.

Are you an experienced Quality Management System (QMS) Manager looking for an exciting opportunity to lead quality initiatives in a dynamic knit composite factory? AKH Knitting & Dyeing Ltd., a prominent sister concern of AKH Group, is seeking a qualified individual to drive QMS requirements implementation across our organization.As a QMS Manager, you will be instrumental in developing quality standards that align with buyer expectations and enhance operational efficiency throughout our manufacturing processes. This is a vital role for anyone passionate about building a better quality future in the garments industry.Job Responsibilities:Oversee the QMS requirements by ensuring compliance across all departments.Implement quality assurance measures from raw material handling to final product shipment.Train quality inspectors and staff on quality protocols and standards.Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) and quality manuals for effective quality management.Drive continual improvement initiatives by implementing Total Quality Management (TQM) principles.Collaborate with buyers for technical audits and ensure adherence to their quality requirements.Conduct internal audits and work with department heads for quality enhancements.Promote 5S housekeeping standards across the workplace and train employees accordingly.Manage quality metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) for comprehensive reporting.Control technical documentation and maintain records meticulously.Utilize Lean methodologies and Six Sigma strategies to elevate quality standards.Analyze statistical quality data regularly and engage stakeholders for improvements using quality tools.Key Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, statistics, or a related field.Master’s degree and specialized quality management certifications are preferred.Minimum of 7 years of experience in manufacturing (FMCG), garments, textile, or related fields.Familiarity with certification processes for 9001:2015 (QMS) and handling audits for global brands like H&M, Tesco, or Primark.Strong analytical skills and proficiency with MS Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint).Exceptional communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across teams.This position not only offers the chance to implement quality standards at a leading organization but also provides ample opportunities for professional development and impact.Additional Information:Gender Preferences: Both Male and Female candidates are encouraged to apply.Job Nature: Full Time; work will be conducted at our office located in Dhaka (Savar).Salary: Negotiable based on experience and expertise.Application Deadline: Please ensure your application is submitted by September 22, 2025.If you are keen on confidentially advancing quality management in a thriving environment, do not miss out on this job opportunity at AKH Knitting & Dyeing Ltd.!
