Education Requirements

Job Responsibilities

• Ensure the acceptance of pharmaceutical raw materials and maintain quality standards in manufactured drugs.
• Monitor quality parameters at every step of the drug production process.
• Ensure calibration of instruments and validity of lab testing methods.
• Prepare and maintain necessary documents like B.M.R, S.O.P, C.O.A, and M.O.A.
• Experience with various laboratory instruments (HPLC, UV, GC, TLC, AAS, etc.) is required.
• Conduct microbiological tests on production area, water, and environment.
• Manage testing related to bacterial counts, sterility tests, endotoxin, and bioburden.
• Ensure correct preparation and calibration of lab instruments, media, and cultures.
• Collaborate with Production, QC, and QA teams to resolve Out of Specification (OOS) results.
• Verify final product release before marketing.
• Document all data and reports according to GMP and GLP principles.
• Prepare daily production schedules and statements.
• Participate in audits (internal/external) and validation activities.
• Proficiency in computer applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
