Job Responsibilities
- Conduct refraction tests and provide primary eye care services.
- Maintain accurate patient records (both hardcopy and software based) at the vision center.
- Provide treatment and prescribe corrective lenses as required.
- Support patients via telecom systems where applicable.
- Refer patients to the base hospital when advanced care is needed.
- Operate and maintain modern eye care equipment efficiently.
- Ensure effective patient counseling and communication.
- Work collaboratively with the team to ensure smooth Vision Center operations.
- Participate in training, workshop, meeting and seminar organized by the hospital and its partners.
- Uphold accuracy, confidentiality, and professionalism in all activities.

Dristidan Eye Hospital, a rural healthcare organization striving to reduce avoidable blindness in Bangladesh, is on the lookout for a dedicated Refractionist to join our team. Conduct refraction tests and deliver primary eye care services. Maintain accurate patient records in both hardcopy and digital formats at the vision center. Provide treatment and prescribe corrective lenses as necessary. Support patients through telecommunication systems when applicable. Refer patients to the base hospital when advanced care is needed.
