Job Description
Pidim Foundation is seeking a talented and experienced জোনাল ম্যানেজার who will be responsible for supervising and monitoring the operations of branch offices within a designated zone. The successful candidate will ensure that area managers and branch managers are conducting activities as per their job descriptions while adhering to the organization’s policy guidelines at all times. Job Responsibilities: Regular supervision and monitoring of branch office activities under the assigned zone. Ensure adherence to the organization’s policies during the formation of new committees and strategize on recovering overdue loans. Conduct field surveys for area expansion and take actions based on the advice of loan coordinators. Approve expenditures of branch offices per the organization's accounting manual and forward special approvals to the appropriate authority. Conduct monthly coordination meetings focusing on progress, reports, and supervision with area and branch managers. Assist the internal audit and monitoring team during audits. Provide written reports on the condition of at least one branch office to the loan coordinator every month. Maintain effective communication with local dignitaries, NGOs, and all officials at the district and upazila levels. Act promptly to contact the loan coordinator in the event of any fraud or embezzlement by staff or managers. Conduct inspections of branch offices and field activities while documenting irregularities and necessary suggestions. Prepare and submit monthly MIS and AIS reports based on set formats to the main office. Take necessary steps to ensure the monthly/annual planning and budgeting are implemented. Ensure proper use of funds by transferring money between branches based on the loan status. Check loan approval and all bill vouchers for compliance and approve bills up to 1,000 BDT by the area manager. Oversee the overall loan operations of branch offices, including staff management, performance, and training programs. Authorize the leave of area managers called for work. Review and approve the joining papers, transfer recommendations, and resignations of employees. Take necessary actions after assessing the performance of employees post-provision period. Take appropriate measures for loan repayments, including PKSF and other loans. Submit monthly progress reports and advance plans to the loan coordinator in the first week of the following month. Assist in solving issues faced by branches with high problem rates. Update all registers pertaining to the branch offices. Investigation of the causes of newly overdue loans and ensure effective measures for the collection of dues. Attend meetings and report to the district commissioner/ executive committee/ other coordinating bodies. Perform any relevant tasks as assigned that are not mentioned above. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or Honors qualification is required. A Master’s degree will be an added advantage. At least 3 years of experience in a similar role managing 25-30 branches in a national-level NGO’s microfinance program. Age limit: Up to 45 years. Employment Nature: Full Time Location: Work at office (Anywhere in Bangladesh) Salary: During the probation period, the salary is 70,000 BDT, which increases to 78,211 BDT after permanent employment. Job Benefits: Two days of weekly leave (Friday and Saturday). Motorcycle allowance with limits based on distance (4.50 BDT/km, maximum 6,000 BDT monthly). Monthly mobile and internet bill coverage.
