Job Responsibilities

  • Develop sales, distribution and channel strategy for Seed Department.
  • Forecasting and developing annual sales budget for categories, regions and territories; projecting expected sales volume and profit.
  • Achieve company sales targets with proper planning and execution.
  • Identify potential markets for expanding market share.
  • Building brand awareness all over Bangladesh.
  • Creating area sales reports and presenting them to higher management.
  • Smooth communication with clients, parties, customers to maintain good relationship.
  • Analysis of customer requirements and market conditions.
  • Ability to work as a team member and manage full Sales Team.
  • Coordinate with all level sales team members.
  • Achieve National sales Target with monthly sales plans.
  • Maintain & follow up all types of sales activities.
  • Generate ideas to create new customers and enhance existing sales.
  • Prepare monthly and annual sales budgets, maintain relationships with dealers.
  • Searching for new distributors and making recommendations.

Job Description

SQ Agriculture Ltd is on the hunt for a dynamic and motivated Regional Manager for our Seed Department. We pride ourselves on offering high-quality seeds, pesticides, and micronutrients that empower farmers to produce top-notch crops. Responsibilities: Develop and implement sales, distribution, and channel strategies for the Seed Department. Forecast and develop annual sales budgets for various categories, regions, and territories while projecting expected sales volume and profits. Achieve company sales targets through meticulous planning and execution. Identify potential markets to expand our market share. Build brand awareness across Bangladesh. Compile and present area sales reports to upper management. Maintain effective communication with clients, partners, and customers to foster strong relationships. Analyze customer requirements, current market conditions, and competitor strategies. Work collaboratively as part of a sales team to ensure collective success. Coordinate efforts with sales team members at all levels of the company. Achieve national sales targets by forecasting and developing monthly sales plans for area-wise projections. Maintain and follow up on all types of sales activities daily and monthly. Generate innovative ideas to attract new customers and enhance existing sales. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual sales collection budgets. Research and recommend new distributors/dealers. Identify new customers to increase business opportunities regionally. Achieve sales and recovery targets set by the company. Undertake any other duties as assigned by management. Requirements: Educational qualifications: Degree in Agriculture (Diploma, Bachelor of Science, or Masters) Age: 35 to 45 years Experience: 10 to 12 years in agro-based firms (Seed, Agro Processing, GM) Skills required: Agronomist knowledge, dealer management, leadership, excellent communication skills, sales and marketing savvy, customer service orientation. Preferred: Proven experience in sales marketing within the Seed or agricultural industry. Strong understanding of the Bangladeshi agricultural seed market. Dynamic and creative problem-solving abilities. Strong dealer management skills and people management abilities.
