Job Description
Department: Office of the Registrar:Feni University is seeking a self-motivated, proactive, and dynamic individual for the position of Registrar within our Office of the Registrar. The Registrar is responsible for:Providing secretarial support to university authorities.Ensuring quality student services related to registration, tuition assessment, and maintaining academic records.Evaluating transcripts and advising students, faculty, and staff on academic regulations and graduation requirements.Coordinating the Student Information Systems such as pre-registration, registration, and course adjustments.Ensuring compliance with student records policies and regulations.Handling transfer credits, advanced placements, and thesis titles.Managing tuition and associated fees.Liaising effectively with regulatory bodies.Arranging important meetings and gatherings such as Convocations and Academic Council meetings.Overseeing the Registrar's office functions and administrative staff.Providing clarity on policies and procedures while resolving issues efficiently.Organizing workflow activities and scheduling meetings.Performing additional duties as assigned by higher authorities.Qualifications:Bachelor's or Honors degree with First-class honors or equivalent, or a Master’s/Ph.D./M.Phil. from a reputable university. No third division/class will be accepted at any level.Minimum of 10 to 15 years of professional experience, preferably in a university environment.Strong English drafting and IT skills.Ability to manage administrative tasks independently.Compensation:Compensation will be as per FU pay scale.To Apply:Interested candidates should apply by sending their applications to The Registrar, Feni University.
