About the Role We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Reservation Manager at the prestigious Renaissance Dhaka Gulshan Hotel RDGH. This position offers an exciting opportunity to oversee a thriving reservation team and manage room bookings with precision and care. As a vital member of our hospitality team, you'll enhance guest experiences and maximize hotel revenue. Verify all reservation information with callers to ensure accuracy. Accommodate and document special requests efficiently. Assign confirmation/cancellation numbers and communicate this information effectively to callers. Determine appropriate room types to meet guest requirements while maximizing revenue. Explain guarantee and cancellation policies clearly to callers. Utilize sales techniques to assist guests in reservations, including personalizing interactions. Answer guest questions about property facilities/services and provide detailed information about rates and availability. Document manual reservations accurately and process changes or cancellations as required. Manage billing accounts for various guest types, ensuring compliance with accounting policies. Instill company values and provide training to new employees in the reservations department. Troubleshoot and resolve guest issues effectively; escalate as necessary. Required Skills and Qualifications: Master of Business Administration (MBA) or equivalent preferred. 5 to 8 years of experience in hotel reservations or a related field.
