Job Responsibilities
- Perform rapid assessment and stabilization of patients arriving in the Emergency Department
- Provide advanced life support and emergency procedures (intubation, CPR, IV access, trauma care)
- Conduct initial assessment and continuous monitoring of admitted patients
- Ensure administration of medications, treatments, and investigations as per consultant’s instructions
- Respond promptly to medical emergencies and provide immediate life-saving interventions
- Assist consultants during rounds and update them on patient progress
- Coordinate with nursing and paramedical staff to ensure quality patient care
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation
- Attend to emergency calls within the hospital and manage patients accordingly
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, protocols, and safety standards
