Job Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive patient counseling on medication use, dosages, side effects, and adherence strategies.
- Ensure accurate dispensing of prescription and OTC medications, strictly following prescription guidelines and pharmacy protocols.
- Maintain strict compliance with DGDA regulations, Model Pharmacy standards, and internal SOPs.
- Oversee inventory management, including procurement, stock rotation, and monitoring expiry dates to prevent wastage.
- Conduct regular audits of batch records, expiry dates, and storage conditions to ensure product quality.
- Maintain up-to-date documentation for all pharmacy transactions, narcotics, and restricted drugs.
- Supervise and guide junior staff or assistants to ensure safe and efficient workflow within the pharmacy.
- Address patient concerns and collaborate with healthcare providers for better therapeutic outcomes.
- Promote the rational use of medicines and ensure public health safety through awareness and guidance.
