Job Description
FELB BD., LTD., a leader in global logistics and services, is on the lookout for a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to enhance our dynamic team in Dhaka. This vital role involves managing critical financial records and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. Handle various accounting tasks including preparation and consolidation of financial statements on a quarterly, half-yearly, and yearly basis. Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely reconciliation and maintaining compliance with financial best practices. Prepare tax returns for individuals and companies, including VAT submissions and monthly withholding tax. Oversee the complete accounting transaction entries in QuickBooks and maintain all company accounts, cash and bank transactions. Conduct budgeting and forecasting processes, report variances, and prepare monthly salary statements for bank transfers. Manage external audits and face to face consultations with auditors. Assist with general affairs and HR duties as needed. Required Qualifications: Bachelor or Master degree in Commerce or Business Administration with a focus on Accounting. 5 to 10 years of relevant work experience in sectors such as Trading, Export/Import, or Logistics. Strong proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks and Excel). Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure.
