Job Description
Job Overview We are looking for a highly-skilled and experienced Senior Merchandiser to join Anjuman Garments Ltd. This position is critical in ensuring smooth operations in our garment production processes, from initial buyer orders to final product delivery. Key Responsibilities Order Management: Handle buyer orders from development through to final shipment. Buyer Communication: Maintain consistent contact with buyers regarding product development, approvals, and updates. Product Development: Coordinate sampling, fabric sourcing, and trims while ensuring timely approvals. Production Follow-up: Monitor production progress, resolve issues, and ensure timely delivery. Costing & Pricing: Prepare cost sheets, negotiate prices with buyers, and ensure profitability. Supplier Coordination: Collaborate with suppliers to ensure quality and timely supply of fabrics and accessories. Quality Assurance: Verify product quality as per buyer requirements by coordinating with QC teams. Time & Action (TNA) Calendar: Develop and monitor TNA to meet critical deadlines. Team Leadership: Guide junior merchandisers, delegate tasks, and review their work. Problem Solving: Address unexpected issues effectively, whether related to fabric delays, quality concerns, or production bottlenecks. Documentation & Reporting: Maintain all order-related documentation and report regularly to management. Market Knowledge: Stay informed about fashion trends and buyer preferences. Requirements Education: Bachelor’s or Honors degree. Experience: Minimum of 5 to 7 years in a relevant field; specific experience in Garments Accessories is preferred. Gender: Male candidates only. Skills: Excellent communication and leadership abilities. Work Conditions This is a Full Time position based in our office. The salary is Negotiable and will be discussed during the interview.
